The Bouncing Articles. A Little Rant on the WWE Vol 3

January 11th, 2010
Massimo Martinini asked:

I know you all think I am mad because of the name. Today I will be ranting in a good mood, if you think it is impossible, I will prove you wrong. Well, let’s get started, smiley face.

Hornswoggle

Just to let you all know, I will not be ranting on Hornswoggle for a while, he was ranted on in two other articles. Almost everything has good things and bad things, and Hornswoggle is a bad thing for WWE.

The Slammy’s

CM Punk gets a Slammy for stealing Edge’s trick. Wow, for stealing a trick you get the Slammy? Last I checked, you had to earn your Slammy.

Now on to The Superstar Of The Year Slammy. Next time, WWE should really give it to someone who deserves it. I agree that Chris Jericho deserves it, however, WWE just gives him that award to push John Cena, so he did not earn that, unless feuding with John Cena would give u a Slammy, then Snitsky would have gotten a Slammy if WWE would have continued his push, sad face.

The only most extreme moment nominee that I did not want to get it. I would have voted The Undertaker’s fall. Wow, Jeff Hardy does a Swanton from somewhere high, AGAIN. (Sarcastic) It is so impressive that he always does the same thing, like getting the same title shots and doing high moves, wait, doing high moves are awesome, but the same move over again? NOT COOL !!!!

Now they give out Slammies for singing? No matter who won, even if it was one of my favorite, Edge, I would still think that, wow you get a Slammy for singing, I even think that having a jobber Slammy would be more of an honor than getting a singing award on a wrestling show, and I think a jobber Slammy would be dumb.

The announce team is Todd Grisham and Matt Striker?!?!?!?! All I say for this is that Todd Grisham should to more interviewing and that Matt Striker should do more fighting. The rest of the Slammies were OK.

The Title Pictures

Why are the same people always in the title picture, even though I said it is good that some of these people get shots, now it is repetitive. The same people are John Cena, Shawn Michaels, Chris Jericho, John Bradshaw Layfield, Jeff Hardy (before title), Vladimir Kozlov, Triple H, Mark Henry, Edge, and Batista. The same people over and over. First there is Triple H, he has been in the title picture for all of 2008. First he participates in The Royal Rumble (I do not call that a title shot), then The Elimination Chamber, the Wrestlemania 24, then Backlash (where he won the title), up until Survivor Series where he loses the title. WAIT, after he lost the title, he got ANOTHER shot at Armageddon. Vladimir Kozlov is just in the title picture to give whoever pins him a push. John Bradshaw Layfield got all these shots when CM Punk was champion. Batista, Shawn Michaels, Mark Henry, Edge, and Chris Jericho are self explanatory. Jeff Hardy champion? He gets banned for drug abuse, a few months after WWE gives him a title. The reason why he did not hold the title before is because he blew up all of his chances. He was even scheduled to win The Money In The Bank, but he had to get suspended. Jeff Hardy got a title shot at Royal Rumble, which he lost to Randy Orton, then Jeff Hardy lost at The Elimination Chamber, he beats Snitsky, who they could have let be in The Money In the Bank Ladder Match, but instead of using his chance, he decides to get himself banned, shall I keep going, nah. Now onto John Cena, goodbye World Heavyweight Championship, it will not change hands for a year. WWE should stop giving the same people a push.

The Releases

Look at the people either quit or fired in the past few years. I know what you all are thinking, THIS GUY HAS NO TASTE. Have you guys ever heard of the word “opinion,” if you have not, look it up. MOST, key word, MOST of the people did not get a chance. Snitsky was going to get a chance, because of the “fan reaction” he did not. WWE is blaming it on the fans that Snitsky did not get a push. It is WWE’s fault, IT’S NOT MY FAULT, IT’S NOT THE FANS FAULT, AND IT’S NOT SNTISKY’S FAULT !!!! It is WWE’s fault for his gimmick, get his beard back, his eyebrows back, and his teeth. WWE releases him, and will stay humiliated for the rest of his life. He sacrifices his teeth for the company, what does he get in return, he gets released. Domino was only given a tag team title run, he will really be remembered if all he gets is a tag team run. Rob Van Dam is and was my favorite WWE star, he is better than all of the world champions combined. He smoked some stuff, he did not get a title after, Jeff Hardy failed a drug test, he gets a title. Consider TNA as WWE’s garbage can, although I am stating the obvious.

Superman

What do I mean by Superman? Guess who it is. Who else would it be, who is The Superman of WWE, o yea, IT’S JOHN CENA. It said on one of the match reports that John Cena beat Chris Jericho in a dark match. Chris Jericho was said to be dominating, John Cena does a duck under a chair, then hits of the “four moves of doom” the F-U. I do not even realize why a child favorite wrestler has finishers called F-U and STFU, I think one day those children will think what those stand for. I cannot say because I might lose my columnist job, colon P (:P). In case you do not know, the four moves are The F-U, The STFU, The Five Knuckle Shuffle, and The Back Suplex. The same gimmick, no heel turn. If you do not believe his gimmick is Superman, he gets a Royal Rumble win on with return from an injury. After all that ring rust, he gets a huge win, IMPOSSIBLE.

Dark Matches

Why do they have so many title matches during Dark Matches. Whenever I hear the words “Dark Title Match” guess which word comes to my mind. The correct word is retain. They have so many Dark Title Matches instead of regular Dark Matches.

Survivor Series

I know it is history, but I still want to express what I think what was wrong. For one thing, I was happy when Edge won, but he still lost the title, but that is not the point. Matt Hardy was in a tag team match instead of a title match. What is up with that. I see why he still has the title, the same reason why M.V.P had The United States Championship for so long and same with why C.M Punk did not lose his title sooner, Matt Hardy had elements of both. M.V.P had his title due to lack of title matches. C.M Punk held on because he kept on defending it against the same person (J.B.L). Matt Hardy was in a tag match instead of a title match, so that is the lack of matches, and he kept on challenging Mark Henry.

That is my little WWE rant, I might do another rant. Just to let you know, I was out on vacation, so that is why I was gone. Just please trust me, if you have nobody to push your wheelchair onto a plane, well trust me, bring a family member or something to push it for you, or else everyone will stare at you when you say, “HELP ME.” Now it is time for a little fun fact.

Fun Fact

I feel so stupid or dumb. On The Bouncing Articles Volume one I did a little mistake. It was the one about the top 10 former WWE/ECW wrestlers. I cannot believe I forgot someone, I just like forgot about The World’s Most Dangerous Man, Ken Shamrock, I would have had him at the top, tied with R.V.D. I just cannot believe I forgot him, so let me show you what I would have posted.

Who is number one? Wait I already have a number one, R.V.D. I cannot decide who is better, let’s call it a draw between this man and R.V.D. wait, I have not posted his name yet, well he is only The World’s Most Dangerous Man Ken Shamrock. Ken Shamrock has held The Intercontinental Championship one time and The WWF Tag Team Championship one time (with Big Boss Man). Ken Shamrock has also won The 1998 King Of The Ring tournament. Beware of this man.

GOODBYE !!!!

Dr.P..Anuvalentina asked:

TRAINING NEED ANALYSIS (TNA) – AS  A BASE FOR

TAINING IN IT INDUSTRIES

Training needs analysis process is a series of activities conducted to identify problems or other issues in the workplace, and to determine whether training is an appropriate response. The needs analysis is usually the first step taken to cause a change. This is mainly because a needs analysis specifically defines the gap between the current and the desired individual and organizational performances.

A needs analysis is a wise investment for the organization. It saves time, money and effort by working on the right problems. Organizations that fail to support needs analysis make costly mistakes; they use training when another method would have been more effective; they use too much or too little training, or they use training but fail to follow up on it. A well-performed analysis provides the information that can lead to solutions that focus on the areas of greatest need.

TNA:

A Training Needs Analysis (TNA) is used to assess an organization’s training needs. The root of the TNA is the gap analysis. This is an assessment of the gap between the knowledge, skills and attitudes that the people in the organization currently possess and the knowledge, skills and attitudes that they require to meet the organization’s objectives

An analysis of training need is an essential requirement to the design of effective training. The purpose of training need analysis is to determine whether there is a gap between what is required for effective performance and present level of performance.

The Indian IT sector is growing at a very fast pace and is expected to earn a revenue of US $87 billion by 2008. In 2006, it has earned revenue of about US $ 40 billion with a growth rate of 30%. IT sector is expected to generate 2.3 million jobs by 2010, according to NASSCOM (National Association of Software and Service Companies)

With this rapid expansion of IT sector and coming up of major players and new technologies like SAP, the need of human resource development has increased

The BPO industry develops good domain expertise in people and gives them the exposure to the global markets. With a few years of work experience, one can graduate from a telecalling executive position to a managerial position in the industry. If an individual starts his career, as a customer service representative, he can easily become a team-leader within a year if he / she perform in his / her job. Here, he / she have to lead a team of 10-25 members and shoulder the responsibility for key deliverables, client satisfaction and the profit / loss of the process.

After gaining experience as a team leader, the individual can move to the next step of career growth ladder as the manager of a process or training. A manager can further rise by becoming a head of the process and later as a head of overall operations

Why training need analysis?

Training need analysis is conducted to determine whether resources required are available or not. It helps to plan the budget of the company, areas where training is required, and also highlights the occasions where training might not be appropriate but requires alternate action Who Conducts Needs Analysis & Why?

A needs analysis often reveals the need for well-targeted training areas. However, we must keep in mind that training is not always the best way to try to close a particular gap between an organization’s goals and its actual performance. Those conducting the needs analysis must get a clear idea of the problem, look at all possible remedies and report on their findings to management before deciding on the best solution.

When properly done, Process of conducting a training needs analysis is a systematic one based on specific information-gathering techniques.  Needs analysis proceeds in stages, with the findings of one stage affecting and helping to shape the next one. There is no easy or short-cut formula for carrying out this process. Each particular situation requires its own mix of observing, probing, analyzing and deducting.

In many ways, the needs analysis is like detective work; you follow up on every lead, check every piece of information and examine every alternative before drawing any solid conclusions. Only then you can e sure of having the evidence on which to base a sound strategy for problem solving.

A needs analysis is not a one-time event. Professional organizations administer needs analysis at regular intervals, usually every year or two.

Who attend Training:

Training needs will differ with the backgrounds of the employees to be trained, and their present status in the organization. Basically, a candidate for training may come from any one of three groups :

New hires Veteran workforce Employee already in training pipeline

New Hires

Addition of new employees creates high and low peaks in placing new persons into the training program. This problem may be solved by a program where progression is made in different sequences. It will eliminate a jam that will occur if all phases of the program must be taken in a definite sequence.

The new employees will normally be of somewhat different backgrounds. Being new, they are not familiar with their new employers. As a result, the earliest phases of the training must concentrate on company orientation. During these phases, the organization, organization policies and administrative details should be covered. It is also a suitable time to acquaint the trainees with what will be expected of him, and how he will be evaluated throughout the phase of training.

Veteran Employees

The people in this category offer a real challenge to the training department. There- fore, the number and amount of training required by this category should be carefully considered. Often the retraining and upgrading of former employees can be very rewarding for training instructors. At least two schools of thought exist as to how these employees should be rekindled. There are advantages in keeping this group intact and tailoring the program to their needs. On the other hand, this category of employees can also make significant contribution to training if they are co-mingled with the new hires.

Pipeline Employee

A good training program will normally have participants in various phases of comp- letion. An awareness of completion dates and how the potential employee will be employed should be the concern of the training staff and also the employee’s supervisor. A trainee should have a challenge in all phases of his training. All these challenges should not be confined to those phases where the pipeline employee is sitting in a classroom. Therefore, it is recommended that thorough interim test-work be given to pipeline employees in periods between formal classes. This may take the form of solidifying what he learned in the prior phase and serve as preparation for the coming phases.

Approaches/Methods of Identifying TNA:

Person needs analysis can be either broad or narrow in scope. The broader approach compares actual performance with the minimum acceptable standards of performance. The narrower approach compares an evaluation of employee proficiency on each required skill dimension with the proficiency level required for each skill. The first method is based on the actual, current job performance of an employee; therefore, it can be used to determine training needs for the current job. The second method, on the other hand, can be used to identify development needs for future jobs.

Whether the focus is on performance of the job as a whole or on particular aspects of the job, several approaches can be used to identify the training needs of individuals:

ü  Output Measures.

Performance data (e.g., productivity, accidents, customer complaints), as well as performance appraisal ratings, can provide evidence of performance deficiencies. Person needs analysis can also consist of work sample and job knowledge tests that measure performance capability and knowledge.

ü  Self-Assessed Training Needs.

The self-assessment of training needs is growing in popularity. Here top managers require the employee and his or her supervisor to identify what the business needs are for the department and the business, as well as the skill needs and deficiencies of the individual. Self-assessment is premised on the assumption that employees, more than anyone else, are aware of their weaknesses and performance deficiencies. Therefore, they’re in the best position to identify their own training needs.

ü  Attitude Surveys.

Attitude surveys completed by a supervisor’s subordinates or by customers or by both also can provide information on training needs. For example, when one supervisor receives low scores regarding her or his fairness in treating subordinates, compared with other supervisors in the organization, the supervisor may need training in that area. Similarly, if the customers of a particular unit seem to be particularly dissatisfied com¬pared with other customers, training may be needed in that unit. Thus, customer surveys can serve a dual role: providing information to management about service and pinpointing employee deficiencies

shoesclothes01 asked:

The release date of air jordan 10 was in 1994-1995. After 17 months of absence from the NBA, Michael Jordan came back to cintinue his splendid history. It was not surprising that the return of Michael Jordan shocked everyone, since he had retired more than one year. No spokesman in history could last so long like Michael Jordan.

Nike released retro Jordan 10 in May 3, 2005 which was about 10 years after they were last sold. The Jordans 10 were the oldest shoes to be retroed older than the air jordan 13.

The designer of the nike air jordan 10 was Tinker Hatfield. At that time, Michael Jordan was away from the game of basketball, and he began a quite short career of playing baseball. A lot of people thought the air jordan line was done, however, Tinker Hatfield didn’t think so. That was why air jordans 10 came again. But, Michael Jordan did not approve the air jordan retro 10. He talked with Tinker about that at the beginning stages of development, but it didn’t work.

The cheap air jordan 10 have many unique features. They have a different shape which is quite different from the previous air jordan shoes. The main feature of air jordan 10 is that the outsole of shoes records the Jordan’s ten years of strenuous experience and various achievements. Though their design is quite simple, they look elegant. So it is worth puchasing.

When the air jordan 10 was released in 1994, a total of three models were released. There are five different colorways representing five selected teams. Relatively, they are Sacramento Kings, New York Knicks, Orlando Magic, Seattle Supersonics and the Chicago Bulls.

As we can see that the design of the air jordan 10 is simple. We can’t see any sign of nike or jordan on its upper. Their design is quite suitable for us to play balls.

Ask the Warrior Dentist: How Your Dentist Whitens Your Teeth

January 11th, 2010
Dr. Susan Wells asked:

There are actually several different approaches that you dentist will take to help whiten your teeth, based on your personal preferences, your tooth color now, and the goals you have both in terms of affordability and whiteness results. The first way – which your dentist or dentists have been doing every since you first went to the dentist as a child – involves a thorough and professional cleaning. This kind of whitening, as you probably notice, gives you immediately better looking and whiter teeth. They look much better, have a sparkling polished appearance, and it is fun to run your tongue over them and see how silky smooth they feel.

But that doesn’t happen by accident or magic. The dentist follows specific procedures that get you from that gray or dull look to a sparkling smile, and those typically fall on the shoulders of a trained and certified dental hygienist or dental assistant. The dental hygienist is the person that many patients think of as the dentist’s nurse, because his or her job is to assist the dentist. One of the main jobs is to help do the routine cleaning and whitening of your teeth, and the hygienist accomplishes this by doing a comprehensive brushing – sometimes using a high-tech water pressure tool that sprays water to pressure wash your teeth. Then she or he will use various types of special toothpaste and tooth polish that contain slight abrasives. These gritty substances help to rub off stains and dig down beneath layers of built-up discoloration. Sometimes the hygienist will also use manual tools to scrape away plaque from the tooth enamel. Taken together, all of these steps can significantly whiten your teeth.

If you want to go to the next level of whitening, your dentist can use special peroxides – which are rather intense chemical acids – to etch down deeper into the tooth surface and literally eat away at bad stains. Of course the dentist knows how to dilute the chemicals so that they are not harmful to your teeth or gums, and using these teeth whitening products can make for an outstanding and really gorgeous white-tooth smile.

These days there are take-home versions of whiteners that the dentist can recommend, too, so that you can be given special whitening trays to apply to your teeth at home. Over time your teeth whiten more gradually than they do in the dentist’s office, but the result is almost the same degree of bright whiteness.

Advanced cosmetic laser dentistry is also sometimes used to treat teeth and clear away the stained outer surface to reveal a brighter and whiter tooth, and dentists can also apply special veneers – which are super thin surfaces – to the outside of the tooth. Once the veneer is in place it stays there as an indistinguishable part of the tooth. Nobody knows it is there but you and your dentist, and it does an invisible job of giving you much whiter teeth.

To get the whitest possible teeth for the best possible results and the prettiest smile, just ask your dentist about all the ways he or she can treat your teeth to ensure ultimate tooth whiteness. And don’t forget to play your own part by brushing and flossing regularly.

She is a former number 1 player. After two years of injuries Kim decided that 2007 would be her last years as a professional tennis player. On May 6, 2007, after a tournament in Warsaw, where she again suffered from injuries, Clijsters announced on her website that she would immediately stop tennis.

On March 26, 2009 Clijsters announced her comeback on the WTA tournament in Cincinnati on August 10. Later on in 2009 she played the US Open as a wildcard entry. Clijsters won the US Open 2009 by beating Caroline Wozniacki in the final with 7-5 en 6-3.

2. Lance Armstrong

Armstrong is best known for his record victories in the Tour the France and as a world champion. Armstrong won the Tour de France seven times in a row, from 1999 to 2005. In 1996 he was prognosed with testicular cancer and the doctors gave him twenty to forty percent chance of survival. In 2005, after winning his last Tour de France, he said that this was the perfect moment for a retirement.

In september 2008 he announced he was planning a comeback. The main reason behind his comeback was to call attention to the problems of cancer and make his organisation, Livestrong, well known around the world. The other reason was to prove that he is a non-doping cyclist.

In 2009 he gained the third place in the Tour the France and his career isn’t over yet…

3. Niki Lauda

Niki Lauda was one of the best F1-racers in the world. Lauda won his first world title in 1975 and seemed headed for his second in 1976 when he flew off the road in August 1 of that year at the German Grand Prix (the Nurburgring). He was threatened to burn alive when the wreck caught fire. His racing career seemed over, but to everyone’s amazement Lauda was back behind the wheel of his Ferrari a few weeks later and he missed the world title with just one point.

He retired in 1977 (after winning the world title agan) to start his own airline. In 1982 he was lured back to the Formula 1 by McLaren, where in 1984 he won his third world championship. At the end of 1985 Lauda left Formula 1 forever.

4. Mario Lemieux

Mario was one of the greatest NHL players of all-time. Lemieux began his career in 1984 with the Pittsburgh Penguins, which was, at that moment, the worst club in the NHL. He helped the club to win the Stanley Cup both in 1991 and 1992. Over the years received numerous individual awards and Lemieux himself he grew into a legend in the sport.

In 1993 Lemieux beated cancer and he could continue his career, but in 1996 he was forced to retire because of severe back pain. Four years later (in 1997) he made his comeback. In his first game, he scored a goal and added three assists, then in 2006 he received cardiac arrhythmias and again at age 40 was forced to retire.

5. Michael Jordan

Michael Jordan is a famous NBA Basketball player. Almost his entire career he played for the Chicago Bulls (1984 – 1993 and 1995 – 1998). He retired in 1993 and started a new career: golf. That didn’t work out, so he came back to the NBA in 1995 with the words “I’m back”. In his fifth game he scored 55 points against the enemy of the 90s, the New York Knicks. In that year the Bulls lost their semifinal of the Eastern Conference 4-2 against Orlando Magic with players like Shaquille O’Neal and Anfernee “Penny” Hardaway.

In his first full season after his comeback Jordan became topscorer for the eight time, but something much more memorable was delivered by the Bulls. They where the first team in the history of the NBA (which officially exists since 1947) to win 70 games (they’ve won 72 games)

Wwe Diva Search Winners & Losers

January 10th, 2010
Matt C. asked:

Since 2003, the WWE has held a unique talent search contest known as the WWE Diva Search. This competition involves some of the most beautiful and talented women around, vying for a spot on the WWE Divas roster. There’s usually one female crowned the winner each year, but this is never a true indicator of future success. In fact, several of the runner-ups and losers in the contest have gone on to more success than the winners. In this article, we’ll take a look at the winners and losers who’ve achieved success in the WWE brand of pro-wrestling and beyond.

The main purpose behind the diva search has been to find a new diva for the WWE Raw, Smackdown or ECW television shows who acts as an interviewer, wrestler and/or manager for other wrestlers. Past winners have included Ashley Massaro, Christy Hemme, Layla El and Eve Torres. Each of these women has achieved careers in WWE following their diva search victories. So far, Ashley may have achieved the most fame of these lovely women. She not only was a competitive wrestler in WWE for some time, but she also had cameo roles on TV shows, was on Survivor: China and appeared as one of several nude WWE divas in Playboy. Eve Torres is the most recent diva search winner and currently is a backstage interviewer on Smackdown. The lovely latina is training for her WWE wrestling career daily. Ashley and Christy are no longer with WWE, as both have moved on to other endeavors. Christy Hemme is currently on the TNA Wrestling Knockout roster, still bringing her beauty and skill to wrestling.

Although they’re technically considered “losers” of the diva search, they’re hardly losers by any means at all. Several divas have been eliminated early in the contest or were runner-ups and still went on to WWE Raw and Smackdown careers. Four great examples of this are Candice Michelle, Michelle McCool, Maryse Ouellet and Maria Kanellis. Candice, Maria and Michelle were all contestants in 2004’s Raw Diva Search, but Christy Hemme was its winner. Despite this, all three girls are still in WWE wrestling. Candice has held the WWE Women’s Championship while Michelle McCool is current WWE Divas Champion. Both Maria Kanellis and Candice Michelle have appeared as nude WWE divas in Playboy magazine.

Other women who’ve been hired by WWE despite losing the diva search include Joy Giovanni, Amy Weber, Taryn Terrell, Kristal Marshall and Maryse Ouellet. Maryse currently stars as one of Smackdown’s WWE Divas, while Taryn Terrell, also known as “Tiffany” is the assistant to ECW General Manager, Theodore Long. Another name or face you may recognize is Leyla Milani. She’s been featured in USA’s “members of the Raw nation” advertisement, and currently works as on the hit NBC show, “Deal or No Deal” as one of the girls with the briefcases. So the next time the diva search rolls around, don’t worry if your favorite contestant bows out early. She may still have a successful career in WWE wrestling or the entertainment industry.

Wow Wotlk Warrior Leveling Guide

January 10th, 2010
Bennie asked:

Warriors are a very fun class to play with, since they provide the feeling of an unstoppable leveling machine. They don’t need to wait for mana, they get energy by getting into combat. Their overall leveling speed is really high. If the leveling is done correctly, your leveling speed will be similar to the leveling speed of well-geared rogues or hunters. While leveling your warrior, it is very important to pay attention to its equipment as that will determine your success. Read on to discover the best talent and equipment for a warrior.

Get the secrets of the most effective leveling guide

Talent

The best talent build is usually, the core of a good warrior leveling guide, as it is really hard to decide, which talent build is truly good for leveling. I recommend you to use this Fury build, since it will give you really high consistent damage, which is the most important for leveling. Cruelty is one of the most important talents to pick up, so get it. However, Unbridled Wrath seems, a weak talent at first look, actually, it is really good. Dual Wield Specialization will give a huge boost to your damage, so pick it up. The real, killer talent is the Flurry, as it will give a massive increase to your damage, but it is important to maximize it out and build up a decent critical strike rating. Bloodthirst, Rampage, Improved Berserker Stance, all these talents will increase your overall damage, so go for them.

Items

Choosing the right statistics for a Fury warrior is really simple: your aim is to maximize your overall damage output, so you should get as much attack power, critical strike rating and strength as possible. Strength should be your first priority, as strength will increase your attack power, thus your overall damage. Later, critical strike rating may become more important as critical strike rating also affects the effectiveness of Flurry. It is also important to choose weapon with the highest available DPS since the damage of your weapon really matters.

The Ultimate Warrior Leveling Guide

The next step is to get the best warrior leveling guide, but before you start looking for the best, i must warn you: nowadays, there is no such thing: warrior leveling guide, as all good guides cover all the playable classes. So, get the best automated leveling guide.

Sowmithri Ramgangadar asked:

Every one of us is a sales person, be it in office or at home. We need to sell ourselves, our organization and our products and services.

Even at home, the wife sells the idea that the family should live within its means of income. The husband sells the idea that it is a tough world and all the members of the family should be fighting fit to meet life. The children on their part try to sell the idea of a holiday trip or purchasing a computer system or even a home theatre system.

Be proud to be a sales person or a road warrior, for without the sales persons selling efforts, even a very good product will not sell by itself.

Selling cannot be taught, but selling tips can be given. A sales person should basically like to interact with people, love travel and endure competition in the market to finally convince the prospect to turn him into a customer. Ultimately, also to retain customers.

A sales career is also a rewarding one because it is a profession where your rewards are directly proportional to your efforts; that is based on your achievement of your targets. And remember, the targets that you are given will be unrealistic; otherwise it cannot be termed to be a sales target. Targets are meant to be that way.

Now, what are the practical tips to selling skills?

Sell yourself first. This requires as the saying goes, first impression is the best impression. Your appearance is God given, but how you present yourself makes the difference. You need to look neatly dressed but this does not mean that you spend money on expensive clothing. Again as the saying goes, dress makes half the man and the customer will judge your organization because you are the ambassador.

Be confident and communicate positively. Since, every time you meet a prospect or a customer, it is something like attending an interview. You need to impress the customer and at the same time be honest about what you have to say about yourself, your organization and your products or services. Be sure to commit what is possible and politely turn down unreasonable requests or demands of the customer. Explain why it may not be possible to accept all his demands. All the same, as a sales person you may have to bend backwards to fulfill some customer demands or otherwise you will end up losing all the customers. But remember to stay committed to your commitments.

Attitude matters; if you are not playing to win, why play at all?

We are not participating in the Olympics, where the motto is to participate irrespective of winning or losing. Here, it is a matter of survival or bread and butter. We have to beat competition, of course by fair means to win our customers.

Do not bulldoze or bullshit the customer. Do not do this even if it means losing an order. The customer will appreciate your efforts and commitment and will surely consider you the next time he has a requirement. You can win his confidence even if it means losing an order. Since selling is all about repeat orders and building a long term customer relationship.
